Geeky Halloween Costumes

Published by beakerwriter under Uncategorized Edit This

If you’re sick of seeing the same sexy cat, sexy postman and sexy hurricane Katrina victim costumes, there are plenty of cool costume ideas out there that aren’t expensive and aren’t boring.

One of the coolest Halloween costumes I’ve ever seen was a guy with a bathrobe, a fake beard and a book covered in a hand-made dustjacket that said “Don’t Panic” in big friendly letters. If you don’t know what that costume was about, this blog likely isn’t for you.

Most of my friends tend to do the Star Wars thing, and it’s pretty easy to find components for them, but a lot of them don’t look that realistic. To give them a touch of realism, look around for your own special touches that can be added. A friend of mine made a Leia belt by covering a light switch cover with silver fabric and putting it on the front of a silver belt.
